When I was little, my mom used to make me drink blended carrot, spinach and apple (it's a brown-ish kind of color, rather gross, but surprisingly tasty).

To tell you the truth, I'm not a vegetarian but I almost lead a vegetarian life because I seldom eat meat. I think how I made that switch is that I loooove carbs. And because everyone stresses that carbs are bad for you, I guess over time I just subconsciously made the decision to always pick carbs over meat (since eating both at the same time is a bad idea). So I guess I'm saying that trying to switch to meat-less meals might be difficult if you don't have a replacement food readily available. If you ever get a meat craving, you might binge more on it than you normally would. Anyway, let me know how it goes with your diet! I'm always interested in learning about how other people eat, especially when it's a healthy diet!Mundane Sanityhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09495500890353908974noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-172598008491946178.post-4015409929510021932010-10-07T10:40:45.315-07:002010-10-07T10:40:45.315-07:00I'd love to try that smoothie and congrats re ...I'd love to try that smoothie and congrats re the path to meatless.
