Fab Find

So, I was watching the DIY Network as I do almost everyday... they incorporate some of the coolest products in remodels and renovations. That's how I discovered the pre-fabricated door arches, that I just love and can't wait to install in our soon to be house.

Today I discovered floating porcelain tiles! What a fab find!! I know I would like to tile the bathrooms but the thought of tiling has always intimidated me, so this product is right up my alley.

SnapStone is genuine porcelain tile that is affixed to a rubberized backing with extended tabs that fit into the neighboring tile pieces. Kinda like flat Legos.

Seems easy enough.

Another thing I like about this product is that you can install radiant heating under it. I swoon at the thought of getting out of the bath and my tootsies touching a warm floor.

I'm going to order samples of the flooring and the flexible grout and see what's what.

I know it's still Summer and the very thought of leather makes you wanna jump in a cool, refreshing pool but this jacket is smokin'! Look at it's chocolate-ty, supple-ly goodness. Oh and those darling puff sleeves, the perfect foil for some rugged, low slung, haphazardly rolled up boyfriend jeans and the highest stilettos your precious ankles can handle.

I always thought I was partial to an all white, marble-y bathroom but these options are certainly making me ponder the possibilities.

I never really ever considered wicker.. for anything. It always seemed very "Golden Girls", love the show, the wicker furniture... not so much.

I just love the sunny lemon-y color! How cheery would you be waking up with such a hue? Now, I feel like pillaging my local garage sales for a wicker/rattan headboard.

The house hunting saga may finally be coming to a happy and joyful end. We went under contract today!! Woo Hoo!

 Look at her.. ain't she purty? A little plain but Momma will take care of that.

All jokes aside, the Husband and I are very thankful and hope this is the beginning of a new chapter in our adventurous life together.

It's so exciting and it was a little nerve racking.. "What do I say? How do I say it? Will the readership "get" me? What do I wear? Ummm, scratch that last part, but you get my drift. I just wanted to put my best red soled stiletto forward.
