I'm Floored!

I've been totally obsessed with all things decor since we decided to buy a house. Oh yeah, we didn't get the house we were supposed to close on August 24. It was because on the day of the closing, the lender gave us the final cash to close numbers and there was an additional 10k. Needless, to say, that didn't bode well. And up until that point we had had MAJOR problems with our lender from almost the beginning and should have gave us pause but being the excited new homeowners we thought we'd be, we didn't heed the multitude of "warnings". So no house, but I felt it was meant to be.. and another home is to be found. On to the next one..

It's one thing to decorate when you live in an apartment but decor takes on a whole new meaning when you have your own house as your canvas.

Case in point, leopard print tiled flooring. You can HAVE leopard print tiled floors!!!

I found this photo on design extraordinaire, Tobi Fairley's blog. OMG!!! I just love this soooooo much. It's such an unexpected element that would surely wow the socks of off visitors.

Like seriously, leopard floors!!! It's so decadent, I can't STAND IT!!

I would feel sexy just being in this room. I would call it the "Sexy Room". It just begs to be sauntered on, say in sky high Loubous and sheer thigh high stockings with the seam down the back and a short LBD.

How was this flooring job done? It couldn't have been done one small tile at at time.

Does anyone know anything about leopard tiles? Where to find them?

I think I need leopard print tiles in my future... and those Loubous.
