Get In My Closet!

I just LOVE this coat. It's from the Rachel Rachel Roy collection. Not sure how I feel about the "multi coat" feature as I don't really do cropped jackets but the design (bracelet sleeves *swoon*), fabric, color and pattern, LOVES IT!

Transformer Zip Apart Coat

Yup, I'm gonna need this chic coat in my closet ASAP!

Ladylike Lovliness

I think we can all agree on two things, recliners are comfy yet most times ummmm, hideous. You would be hard pressed to find a recliner that looks good, yet alone one that looks fabulous.

Look at what I found!!

Emma Chocolate Reclining Accent Chair

How dainty is the recliner?? I'm just mad about the tufting, soooooooo cute! This chair would be totally oooh la la in a bedroom sitting area or in a fabulous walk in closet. After all, you need comfy seating to try on all those Pradas, Guccis and Loubous!

The Look For Less?

I'm currently contemplating purchasing new living room furniture. It won't be my dream living room. It's more of a transitional purchase... it will go in the family room or basement of our new home.

I have had my eye on this:

It's the Rockford from Home Decorator. I love the classic look and the nailhead detail. Everything looks better with nailhead trim, don't you think?

This sofa cost $1299.00. Mmmmkay...

Then I came across this:

This is the Classy from Bob's Furniture. It's really nice, right?? Who woulda thunk it, something this cute and stylish from a discount furniture store?

I'm in love with the nailhead of course, as well as the colorful paisley pillows in aqua (LOVE!) and those darling little bun-like feet! Definitely furniture fashion forward. And probably the best part of it all is that BOTH pieces are $999.00. Very slowly emerging from recession friendly.

Today's Theme Music

Today is such a beautiful day! I was driving around running errands and this song came on the radio. It put a smile on my face... I cranked it up and sang along.. loudly and probably badly. lol Hey, I never claimed to be a songbird.

Enjoy!

Eat, Pray, Love

I just saw the trailer for the movie "Eat, Pray, Love" based on the wildly successful book of the same name and in the short two and a half minute trailer, I felt a gamut of emotions. I. Have. To. See. This. Movie!

I didn't read the book so I'm going to run out and buy it today. I'm a fan of reading the books that movies are based on... no matter how late I partake.

If the movie trailer made me feel wistful, engaged, scared, happy, longing, satisfied, excited and a little weepy, I wonder what the book has in store!

I wanna make it a Girls' Night and have all my besties go with me to to see this..

Have a peek..

Ahhhh Julia, I love you like chocolate cupcakes and champagne!!!

If I Had To Do It All Over Again

This would be my wedding gown. Miley Cyrus looked absolutely STUNNING at the Oscars in her Jenny Packham gown.

Her look was fabulously edited. Kudos to the young starlet.

Gotta Have Them

I happened to be trolling Craigslist for home decor treasures waiting to be discovered. Nothing there.. today. However, that search led me to another treasure trove and boy did I find LOVE!!

Aren't they GORGEOUS!! I gotta, gotta, have them. Although the current color is nice.. it would be really fresh, reupholstered in a off white silk or linen and maybe an antiqued wood finish or perhaps a black lacquer super shiny stain. Ahhh the possibilities. But for now, they must be relocated to my furniture storage unit.

Get In My Closet!

This is the year of the wedge for me. Everywhere I look, I see a pair of fabulously sky high wedges, with my name written all over them.

Miu Miu

These are for those cute sundress and denim boyfriend shorts. Just gotta add some huge sunglasses and my summer swagger is complete.

Donna Karan

At first glance, these wedges were ummm, interesting, in an "I'll pass", sorta way. But once I saw them on the model, I was SOLD!!! Usually, I'm not a fan of sandals snaking up my ankle but these I LOVE!!! They look comfortable yet chic for those warm summer nights. Whether a romantic dinner with your someone special or hanging out with the girls, these wedges are a winner!

Having A Fit

Having a fit with my new fitness regimen, that is. As you know, I had decided to embark on a fitness journey, that is Insanity.

Well, let me tell you, that name couldn't be more fitting. I started last week and the first day, was KILLER!! I felt like I was gonna throw up a few times, pass out and grind my teeth down to nubs. I had to stop the video like 5 TIMES, just to catch my breath!!!

But a week has past and now all I can THINK about is rushing home and doing Insanity. About 3 days in, I started to fall in love. I started to fall in love with how I felt afterwards..long afterwards.. I had energy for days. I felt more alert, less lethargic, less hungry for sweet treats, strangely and sore.. but a good sore because it reminded me that I was making progress.

Since my new found health kick, I've encouraged my friends to jump into Insanity with me. And while I have no takers just yet, everyone is at least working out! A great victory in itself.

We all text each other about the day's food journals, critique and make suggestions. We're also on a quest for the perfect multi-vitamin to supplement our more healthy food choices. I currently take Centrum Performance. I like this vitamin.. I do feel more energize when I take than on the days that I forget. And with Insanity, I need all the help I can get. But I'm always searching for something better, so I'm thinking of trying ProGrade vgf 25+ for Women:
