Happy Camper

The Hubby is back from his business trip to London and I'm SOOOOOOOO happy. His flight got in late last night and I couldn't even sleep with anticipation of him coming home. It's a really great feeling to still feel this way after so many years together. I just lurve me some him!

While he was gone though, I needed some retail therapy and decided to add a few things to my wardrobe because of course, distance makes the heart wanna go shopping!

First up a new leather jacket:

Super cute Leather Peplum Jacket

It's so buttery soft and so freaking flattering! I have to get it nipped at the waist a little bit (because I've been leaning out) otherwise is an awesome jacket! I also like that it's a altered peplum shape so I have no fear that I won't be able to rock it after the Peplum fashion moment is over.

Next up, I took a trip to Target to get some more workout clothes but came out with these:

Mossimo Ankle Stretch Pants

Such a fun color to add to my wardrobe, very cute! Nice material, appropriate stretch and flattering fit. These are winners. I may go back and get navy and toffee.

Merona Leopard Print Shift Dress

This dress is so lovely, I was pleasantly surprised when I tried it on it. Nice fabric and style... skims the body nicely. Another winner! I plan to wear it with maybe some burgundy pumps and a long or chunky statement necklace.

Have you tried any of Target's new Fall Line? I must say I'm liking the J. Crew inspired looks.

Target?

Is that you?

Very J. Crew inspired, no?

Very cute Leopard pants! Had to post them twice.

Cute trench. I love the black trim.

Another pic of the trench.

Cute look, just wish needs a little zhushing.
What do you think? Do you love any of the pieces? Do you have any of them?

The Randoms

Fall is officially here because I'm cold. I'm so not ready to let go of Summer but the crisp air signals cozy.. in the form of sweaters, cute boots, fabulous leather jackets.

So, to celebrate the change of seasons, I will interject a few stylish items in my closet.

1. Add some gray sweater-y neutrals to my not-yet- ready-to-let-go Summer colorful jeans:

2. Add some Camel / Caramel to my "All Black Everything" leather jacket collection:

3. Be bolder and more glamourous:

4. Have a "Go-To" look for running errands:

5. Embrace and ROCK the vampiness, that is the Burgundy lip:

Love this neutral face paired with a bold lip. So pretty!!

That's it for my fashion ramblings.. on to something more personal.

My Hubby is leaving for London today for business and while he hasn't left just yet, I already miss him terribly. We haven't been apart for 7 straight days in our entire 13 year relationship.

I feel many sleepless nights ahead...

Lastly, I'm thinking of getting inked. I have been saying that for a few years but I think I'm finally on the cusp of actually getting a tattoo.

Love the artisty and detail. I wonder if I have the guts to go this big?

I'm thinking something small like this one.. but I would like it to be colorful.
Upper thigh might be a good place for some fab inkage.

Beautiful

Do you have a tattoo? What is it? Did it hurt, alot? Do you have a recommendation for a tattoo artist in the NJ/NY area?

I was mesmerized by the beauty and power of the ocean

I stayed in the water until I was nice and prune-y
Our 3rd anniversary dinner. Love my husband so, so much!

I had such a blast exploring the island and getting my Vitamin D but the best part was being there with my suga-pie-honey-bunch. Love is truly grand.

Let All The Light In

If I could have any professional, big expense renovation to my home at this time, it would be to re-do the kitchen. (AND to install an underground pool, surrounded lush and beautiful landscaping.. but I digress.) I have so many inspirational photos of what I would like in the kitchen. I have to have the requisite white cabinets, some marble, some sparkle and shine. As well as modern functionality and tons of storage.

Many of the images that I have in my inspiration files are dupes and a total testament to knowing exactly what I love and want. However, I am floored by a white kitchen that I had recently had the joy to behold.

What a fabulous kitchen! I wish I could remember where I found it.. if it's yours or your know the source, please let me know.

I'm in love it's traditional look with the unexpected twist of the clear glass cabinets. I think it's genius to have glass cabinets along the wall of windows. It looks clean and lets all the beautiful light in. I'm so curious as to what the rest of the kitchen.. or the entire house looks like. I bet it's the bees knees.

I also love that there are no window treatments. I'm a total fan of bare windows, especially in the kitchen, which is probably why I haven't put any up.

When we do get around to remodeling our kitchen, this wall of windows with clear glass cabinets, will be on the list of must haves.
