Onion?

I saw this flower a few times and thought it was awesome. It makes such a statement in it's simplicity. I think it would be striking someplace in the reception decor... in the more pinkish color, of course. It also comes in white.. SWEET!

It's called an Alluim. Pretty cute, huh? It's a member of the onion family. Who knew? I've read that they do produce a slight onion smell that disappates quickly.

When you cut them they do have a faint onion smell. lol just serve food with onions in it and no one will be able to tell where the smell is coming from.

Alluims are great! And easy to grow too.

It's true the smell really isn't bad at all. I say go for it and give 'em a shot!

Love the first photo. So clean and crisp.Ahhh summer!

Hi Pink Peony and Brooke!!! Thanks for stopping by. I love the idea of the Alluims. I'm gonna see what my florist can come up with for a chic design, which should be a breeze with these beauties.
