I met with a rep from Viking Pools to get an idea of what it would cost. I'm waiting to get the proposal back.
I really love the idea of a fiberglass pool because they can get the pool in the ground in one day! The pool is fiberglass and is already to go. Just dig a hole and pop the pool in!
Everyone tells me to take our time to get the house they way we want it.. and while I can understand the sentiment, I want to fully enjoy our house pronto. But I do know everything will, realistically, take place over a few years. BOO!
However, should we get a monetary windfall, it's ON like Donkey Kong!

Our next door neighbors have a big pool in their front yard, but they filled it with soil and planted grass on top. I can't believe they did that, who doesn't want a pool??

The pool guy told me that if we moved and wanted to take the pool, we could. How crazy is that?!?!
