Dream A Little Dream

Since I laid eyes on it, I loved it and want it! My Hubby and I did a drive by to see it in person and he loves it too! Hopefully, we can make it ours.

It's a 1920's Colonial with 8 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, 2 half baths on .51 acres.

While the outside could use a little TLC, the interior has some nice features like hardwood floors, a wood burning fireplace. That's about all I know, as I haven't seen the inside for myself...yet. I'm dying to see the kitchen and bathrooms!

I'm sure if the house is still true to the characteristics of a 1920's home, we may need to take down a few walls to make it more functional for a modern family, that said, I still would like to keep the vintage touches that makes homes of the era so charming to me.

Our first order of business would be to paint the exterior, I'm thinking gray with white trim and adding pink azaleas to add more curb appeal. The new paint and pink-ery will make the house feel more like "ours".

I get so excited every time I see this beautiful house. I think of all the fun we will having making this house a home... the dinners, the celebrations, the renovating, the decorating but most importantly, enjoying the new adventure in our lives together.

Hi Ladies!

Thanks for stopping by!! I just loved that home too bad a contract was put on it before our ex-realtor had a chance to get back to us.

Yup, Tonia, it has 8 bedrooms. We figured that we'd have to take down a wall to make a sizable master bedroom. But alas, it was not meant to be..
